i am not surprised.
why Brazil cannot win? it is beacuse players like Ronaldinho and Kaka did not do their best and did not give all their best. France won because they played as a team. that is all i can say.
England played their worst game.
Their record of not winning any penalty shots is still not broken.
when i watch Portugal vs England yesterday, i can see that Portugal is improving since the last 4 years because they had never went to the quarter finals and here they are, winning against England and going to the Semi-finals.
i expect better from England as there are good players like Peter Crouch, David Beckham and Steven Gerrard. but i think Eriksson chose the wrong man to kick the penalty shot. he shouldn't choose Frank Lampard because his accuracy is very bad. in his last match also he never shoot even it is an open goal. There are also alot of things happening with the England players like Beckham's injured leg, Rooney red card and Owen twisted knee. about Rooney's red card; Rooney shouldn't have pushed his own teammate, Christiano Ronaldo (Manchester United). and also if Christiano Ronaldo did not get involve, Rooney would not have pushed him. Rooney is so stupid.
overall, i am very impressed with yesterday's matches and will look forward to France vs Portugal and Italy vs Germany. and i think maybe Germany and France will go to the finals. just maybe.
